Sonic X Shadow Generations launched last Friday, October 25, but Nintendo Switch users can already save $10 on a physical copy of the game. Amazon-owned retailer Woot has Sonic X Shadow Generations on sale for $40, though this deal is only available for the next couple of days. Skyrim’s intro sequence is immediately recognizable, either as a fantastic introduction to a game or as a meme. Apparently, putting that iconic cart ride together wasn’t an easy task. According to a former developer for the game, Nate Purkeypile, the team ran into a strange bug when putting together the sequence. That bug ended up being caused by an actual bug.

Shazam 2 director David Sandberg has released a teaser for the upcoming sequel as footage from the shoot has emerged online. The official teaser shows a variety of close-up shots of Zachary Levi’s Shazam costume, but it’s all very dark footage.

At the end, he says, “Why is it so dark? Probably would have been a good idea to have, like, one light on.” Sandberg captioned the video, “Coming soon…ish,” so it appears whatever this is teasing will be shown off in a more extended and official capacity sometime soon.

The suit in the video appears to be new, or at least it has some elements that are new. This tallies with leaked video from the set that also appears to show a new suit. You can see that footage in the video below, which was shared by a user on Reddit.

One day after its co-founder offered a similar sentiment on Twitter, Respawn Entertainment has now issued a statement of support for trans rights, writing, “trans rights are human rights.”

This move comes after it was revealed last week that Apex Legends publisher Electronic Arts refused to publicly support pro-choice and pro-trans legislation. Despite that Respawn Entertainment head Vince Zampella tweeted in support of the rights of transgender persons. Zampella noted that both Respawn and the Apex Legends dev team all strive to be as inclusive, positive, and supportive as possible when it comes to gender discourse.

Microsoft’s plan to acquire Activision Blizzard is currently being scrutinized by regulatory bodies across the world, and in Brazil, Sony’s official response to that government’s questions has been published. Sega has announced plans to create what it’s calling a “Super Game,” and it sounds like it’ll be a new FPS from a European studio. As part of the company’s latest earnings release, Sega outlined some of its plans for future growth, and one element of this was the creation of a so-called Super Game.

A slide from the publisher’s report said Sega is undertaking the challenge of creating a “large-scale global title,” and that this process will take between three and five years. Sega said this will be a new FPS from a European studio, but no further details were divulged. The company did, however, outline its bold revenue predictions, saying it is hopeful this Super Game can reach lifetime sales of 100 billion yen, which is about $900 million USD.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl has only been out for two weeks, but the game remains a work in progress. Developer GSC Game World released a day-one patch to address some of Stalker 2’s lingering issues. However, the title is still missing the A-Life 2.0 system that was initially promised on its Steam page. Now, GSC Game World is opening up about why A-Life 2.0 isn’t in the game and how the Steam page was changed.
